How Framing Works
Framing work is typically the first phase of a larger job:
Assess the Scope
We look at what the remodel or build-out plan requires structurally and provide a free written estimate.
Frame the New Layout
Walls, openings, and blocking are built to match the approved plan and to code requirements.
Inspect for Squareness
Framing is checked for square and plumb before finish work begins, since drywall and trim only look as good as what's underneath.
Add Blocking Where Needed
Backing is added for cabinets, grab bars, shelving, or fixtures that will mount to the wall later.
Hand Off to Finish Work
Once framing is confirmed, we move directly into the drywall, trim, or paint that follows.
Final Walkthrough
We review the finished wall or room with you once finish work is complete.
Our Approach to Framing
We take on framing as carpentry that supports our core remodel and finish work — new interior walls, blocking, and repairs tied to a project — rather than large-scale structural or load-bearing construction.
Because the same crew that frames a wall also finishes it, we build to the tolerances finish work needs: square corners, consistent stud spacing, and solid blocking wherever something will be mounted later.
On repair work, we replace only the damaged framing members behind existing walls rather than tearing out more than necessary.
